About Ariana
Ariana was born on the 6th of May 1995 in Sydney, Australia into a musical family where she spent the first 13 and a half years of her life starting with piano lessons at the mere age of 3 years and 9 months. She moved to Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2008 where she received a MA degree from the Music Academy in Sarajevo in Flute performance and a BA degree in Music Theory and Education where she is currently finishing her MA degree.
In 2019, Ariana was the recipient of the honourable “Golden award” from the University of Sarajevo for being the best student of the Music Academy in Sarajevo with an average point of grades being 9,91 out of 10,00.
Read More As a teacher, Ariana has always had educational and musical inspiration from her parents where she, even as a young child, would accompany her dad whilst he would teach piano group lessons in the music school Aria Music in Sydney and help him as an assistant. Her love for teaching has always been in her heart and she continues to share her love for teaching through teaching in the music school Mali Mozart Sarajevo where she teaches flute, piano, ear training and music theory. In 2015, Ariana became a teacher on the world renowned online platform for learning musical instruments – PlayWithAPro where she is still teaching very passionately students from all around the world. One of Ariana’s biggest passions aside from her academic work and teaching, is sharing her love for music on social media, mostly through Instagram and YouTube where she currently has more than 300,000 followers on Instagram and over 88,000 subscribers on YouTube. From classical, pop, rock, jazz and world music, Ariana has a deep love for recreating popular tunes into fun arrangements for flute and piano, solo flute with a backing track, multi-tracks and so on. Through her YouTube channel, the music production team of the legendary “The Simpsons” show reached out to her- successfully resulting in a collaboration she will never forget with her and Ella’s cover of the famous Simpsons theme song being featured in the closing credits of episode 9, season 32. Even the famous Hollywood musician and music producer DJ Khaled found Ariana’s profile resulting in him reposting her cover his team asked her to remake onto his popular Instagram page where he has over 20 million followers.

Ariana has participated in many competitions, seminars, masterclasses where she has had the opportunity to work with many renowned international flute professors such as Andrea Kolle (Switzerland), Andrea Oliva (Italy), Maria Fedotova (Russia) , Felix Renggli (Switzerland) and many more. In 2019, Ariana successfully passed the audition to become one of the few recipients that year to receive a full scholarship for the famous ISA music festival in Austria.

In 2017, Ariana was very honoured to become an International Trevor James Flutes Artist. Since 2015, Ariana has had the opportunity to perform numerous times with the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra as an orchestral member and even as a soloist. Since the beginning of this year, Ariana has been touring with worldwide renowned Croatian pianist Maksim Mrvica as part of his band.
